South Dakota Art Museum Guild Presentation:
20 Years as South Dakota Art Museum Director
Speaker: Lynn Verschoor
After 20 years as Director of the South Dakota Art Museum, Lynn Verschoor will be retiring at the end of December. We’ve asked her to share some of the highlights for herself and the museum over these years…and perhaps give us a peek into her plans for the future! To learn more about her career here, you can read the university’s news release about her retirement: https://www.sdstate.edu/news/2019/06/verschoor-retire-after-20-years-south-dakota-art-museum-director.
Lynn’s talk begins at 10:00 a.m. with coffee served at 9:30. This is free and open to the public; Art Guild membership not required.
The South Dakota Art Museum Guild provides invaluable volunteer support the the museum and hosts regular programs and excursions, open to the public. Please join us for these informative and fun events!
