Architectural models are 3D design tools used for centuries to test various aspects of an architect’s vision for a building. Such models test everything from materials to massing to interspatial relationships, allowing designers to experiment. In this presentation, Architectural Graduate Anthony Dyk of TSP, Inc. will demonstrate the techniques and methods he uses in making models and explore how architectural models can be used as presentation tools. With painstaking attention to detail, Anthony’s handcrafted models are true art. On display will be models that took him from 10 to 500 hours of work to create.
