Bailey Meadow is a visual artist from the Sioux Falls area. Her mediums include graphic design/digital art, acrylic painting, and video, although she strives to branch out more and more everyday. Common themes in her work are using traditionally domestic materials and ideals and creating a new, light-hearted narrative from it.
She is currently attending the Minneapolis College of Art and Design for a BFA in graphic design, expecting to graduate Spring of 2023.
Bethany Noordmans is the photographer behind Bethany Noel Photography. Bethany’s images focus on nature and landscapes in South Dakota and the surrounding areas, as well as portrait and event work.
Brit is a high school art teacher, tennis coach, and artist is Sioux Falls, SD. She loves drawing, painting, mixed media, and dreaming up ideas. She grew up making art with her twin sister and father and loves teaching drawing and artistic thinking to young people. Pervasive imagery in her work include nature, butterflies, constellations, anatomy, and the interconnectedness of everything. I love working highly realistic, totally abstract, and a fun combination of both.
Caitlin Pisha is an interdisciplinary artist and designer, drawing from experience in both traditional and digital mediums. She creates to explore her context within the world–sharing her gestural and imaginative illustrations, designs, watercolors and colored pencil drawings. Through her work she explores the themes of context, meaning, and presence.

My wife, Kiesha, and I are the artists behind Up in Smoke Pottery. We have a line of stoneware objects for everyday use. But we’re perhaps best known for our distinct line of “Smokeware.”
We are particularly drawn to the natural warmth of raw unfinished pieces which is evident in both of our lines of pottery. Each piece is formed by me, the part of the process I have always enjoyed, and Kiesha prepares them for firing. Once we have lit the fire we relinquish control of the process and let nature finish our work. Each piece ends up one of a kind; with a bit of me, a bit of Kiesha, and bit of God’s influence. We embrace the unpredictability and variations in piece to piece. We love to look at each piece and try to figure out how or why the pattern and color turned out as it did.
Because our teachers have been the clay and the processes involved and we’ve embraced the trial and error methodology. We’re not bound by the conventional rules of the ceramic process. All of these things are evident in the uniqueness of each object.
Hello , I dab in little bit everything. Acrylics , papier-mâché , sculpting , digital art. I have created art all my life but I didn’t get serious about my art to a few years ago. I started my own Etsy and Redbubble stores to sell my art. I use my artwork to raise money for few charities I donate. I been lucky to have my art used by other organizations just for that reason.
New to the area but art is always something I enjoy doing and observing.
Bennis Art Studios specializes in Digital Illustration, Murals and Caricatures.
Digital Illustration – I can draw a plethora of subject matters in a cool and fun cartoon style. I draw people, buildings and animals for use in books, posters, web or whatever.
Murals – Whether it is a a quick acrylic marker piece on an office wall or a large spray paint piece on the side of a building, we can do it. Check out Bennis Art Studios on facebook to see time-lapse videos of murals getting painted. My murals are at Washington Pavilion, Dakota State University, Brandon Schools, Sioux Falls Christian, Boys and Girls Club, Ben’s Brewing / Downtown Yankton, Prairie Soul Yoga, Churches, Libraries, Gyms and MORE!
Caricatures – Getting a silly cartoon drawing of yourself is as easy as emailing a photo and getting an original color digital caricature sent back for the cost of a meal. They can be used for profile pictures, Christmas cards, retirement, valentines or even for an obituary! I also draw live. Caricatures are drawn live digitally and printed out in full color on card stock.
I graduated from the University of Sioux Falls with degrees in Art, , emphasis
in painting. English with emphasis in writing, and an accidental minor in the History of Religion. I naturally ended up working as an illustrator and copy-
writer until computers and CGI began taking over and I felt I must leave the business. My work is now pretty much all in acrylics and on display at the East Bank Art Gallery. I have done many commissioned pieces and continue to accept them.
Darcy Millette lives and works in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She is a BFA Painting graduate from the University of South Dakota, Vermillion. In 2017 Darcy and Anthony Millette started Millette Studio, a collaborative art studio and online shop that makes and sells paintings and ceramics.
Darcy’s creative practice includes mixed media paintings that combine drawing and painting to create a layered nuanced space that bridges the observation of the representational world with the unknown abstract spiritual world. Darcy’s attention to gardening and the cycles of growth and decomposition speak to the history of still-life painting.
Darcy has recently been involved in creating community-based murals and is looking forward to getting involved with more community projects.
