After the success of their 20th anniversary production of Macbeth, Bare Bodkins is excited to offer audiences one of Shakespeare’s most crowd–pleasing comedies: A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The
lives–and problems– of lovers, fairies, and a bunch of amateur
actors hilariously collide in this fast–paced and hilarious midsummer romp through the forest. A Midsummer Night’s Dream has something for everybody: romance, mistaken identity, and of course plenty of mischief and magic. Bare Bodkins 21st season promises to offer much to Shakespeare fans old and new.
The 90 minute performance will take place in the ruins of the Queen Bee Mill at Falls Park. Seating is on metal bleachers with very limited room for those needing assistance to sit in lawn chairs. All tickets are free, but seating is limited. First–come, first–seated. Tickets will be handed out starting at 6 p.m. the night of the performance.
