After an interval of five years, South Dakota artists, arts advocates and administrators, art lovers and community leaders who recognize the value of our cultural heritage will join together for a two-day State Arts Conference.
Scheduled for May 4-5 in downtown Sioux Falls, the conference, sponsored by the South Dakota Arts Council, Arts South Dakota and the Sioux Falls Arts Council, brings to the state two powerful voices for the arts in our country, Jane Chu, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, and Randy Cohen, Vice President of Research and Policy for the national arts advocacy group Americans for the Arts.
